Embroidery FAQ
Monogramming for Individuals and Couples
Please note that we always ask for initials in the “first name, middle name, last name” order. We will sort the initials based upon the monogram style you have chosen. We pay close attention to orders place on our website. If there is any doubt on our behalf that the initials have been placed in the order you want to see them we will make every effort to confirm the initials prior to processing your order. Please see below for samples.
Individual Example:
“John Paul Smith” the initials should be entered as “JPS” and we will know to enlarge and center the “S” for the last name on traditional style monograms.
Couple Example:
“Ashley and John Smith” the initials should be entered as “AJS” and we will know to enlarge and center the “S” for the last name on traditional style monograms.
Please remember personalized items are not returnable.

Colors
We have used the best computer representation of each thread and fabric color in designing this site. However, every computer monitor displays colors slightly differently, so we can make no guarantee as to the accuracy of the colors you see as compared to the real thread or fabric color.
Monogramming Linens
When monogramming linens, the woman’s initials should be used exclusively. However, some couples may prefer to include both spouses’ first initial with the last initial centered. In the case of using both spouses initials ,enter the first initial of the second spouse as the second initial.
Example, Ashley and John Smith should be entered as “AJS” and we will center according to the font and style chosen.
A Note about Children’s Clothing
The Monogram Studio suggest children’s merchandise be monogrammed with initials rather than their spelled out first name for safety reasons.
